My passion for engineering was ignited in Grade 3 when I designed, built, and raced my first miniature wooden race car, winning the competition. The thrill of bringing an idea from imagination to reality was unparalleled. Since then, I have honed my technical expertise in CAD tools like SolidWorks and AutoCAD, programming languages such as Python, C++, and MATLAB, and manufacturing techniques including 3D printing, welding, and machining. My global experiences in the United States, Indonesia, and Canada have further refined my interpersonal skills, allowing me to collaborate effectively with diverse teams. I thrive on solving complex problems through innovative, hands-on approaches that transform ideas into impactful solutions.
Here is a timeline of my engineering experiences, highlighting key roles and projects that have shaped my growth as an engineer. Click on any experience to delve into the challenges I tackled and the skills I developed along the way!
In each of my classes, I enjoy selecting projects that I am genuinely passionate about. Projects that challenge me, projects that are impressive, and projects that allow me to learn as many new things as possible! That way, in my free time, I enjoy working on these assignments, even once the class concludes. Below are some projects that I have completed throughout my undergraduate career. I know you see countless candidates trying to sell themselves, so I’ll keep this short and impactful—just enough to leave you wanting to ask me more in an interview! Here’s why I stand out from other engineering students:
1. Multifaceted Technical Expertise
My dual-degree background in Mechanical Engineering and Computing Technology allows me to think holistically and tackle challenges across disciplines. Whether it’s designing a mechanical system, optimizing a process, or integrating software solutions, I take initiative to identify problems, develop solutions, and implement them effectively.
2. Global Perspective & Adaptability
Having lived in the U.S.A., Indonesia, and Canada, I’ve developed the ability to adapt quickly, navigate diverse environments, and communicate effectively across cultures and disciplines—critical skills for solving complex engineering problems in a globalized world.
3. Accountability & Leadership
Whether leading a team or contributing as an individual, I take full responsibility for delivering high-quality work on time, every time. I pride myself on being dependable and proactive, ensuring that both my peers and superiors can trust me to step up, take ownership, and drive projects forward—not just execute tasks, but actively push for continuous improvement.
